This paper must be 2-3 pages long and adhere to MLA format. The paper must also have a Works Cited page, which does not count towards length. In addition to direct quotes from the text, the paper must also use two outside sources. These sources cannot include encyclopedias, dictionaries, or websites unless they’re academic in nature. Stay away from summary sites like Shmoop, Wiki, Gradesaver, enotes, Litcharts, and Cliff’s Notes. Instead, try for magazines, newspapers, .edu websites, academic journals, Google Books search, Google Scholar search, or the “Ask a Librarian” feature on Jeff State Library’s website.
