Individual Research Paper Guidelines
Your research paper must be at least 8 (no longer than 10 typed, double-spaced pages (main body section only) and must include a cover sheet, table of contents, main body section, and a bibliography. The bibliography must have at least 6 sources, with only 2 being direct internet sites. Do not use any encyclopedia, Wikipedia, or basic dictionaries for your sources.
All papers must follow the APA or MLA Style format for all written assignments. This is an individual graded written research paper and is due on the date listed in the syllabus. No late papers will be accepted.
Student Requests for Extensions of Due Date for any Semester Long Assignments: For any assignment or course work that is a semester long project, i.e. Individual Research Papers, Group Research Projects, etc., (following CSU Academic Policies) extensions of due dates cannot be granted unless the student can provide official written documentation that the reason, (i.e. medical) which prevented them from completing the work was for the entire semester time period.
Do not put under Dr. LaBrecque’s office door, in his mailbox, or send via CSU General campus mail any written assignments, i.e. PowerPoint Files, Written Case Analysis, Take Home Exams, Group Participation Forms, etc. Always keep a digital copy.
