So, we have an opportunity to really look outside of the box with Healthcare Informatics this semester based on real life experiences
INSTRUCTIONS:
So, we have an opportunity to really look outside of the box with Healthcare Informatics this semester based on real life experiences. It’s time to get innovative with how care is delivered. This last year has tested this to the extreme in many situations.
Think of a device or application that has made a difference in the care you have delivered to your patient population or demographic
OR
One that you think should be used because you see the benefit of such an item to a specific population or demographic
2. Describe this device or application and speak to the benefits of using such an item.
3. Speak to the potential complications or issues with regard to the device or application
4. Bring forward a process that promotes this product in a way that makes it easy for the end user.
An example would be the apple watch and the ekg monitoring that cardiologists have found to be helpful sometimes in emergent situations.
Basic APA format (citations, reference list, double-‐spaced, page numbers) but can include images, diagrams, figures and tables as needed. The paper should not exceed 3 pages, excluding cover page, appendices, and references.
