Order Groups And Organizations Assignment
In this workshop, you will learn about the relationship between an organization and a group. There is considerable overlap between these two terms. Some organizations can also be considered groups and vice versa. For example, a social work student club can be considered to be both an organization and a group. Another example of both a group and an organization is a parent–teacher association at an elementary school.
The two main factors that determine the overall level of performance of an organization are the bureaucratic structure and the competency level of the top leadership. In this workshop, you will be identifying the model of organization and the type of leadership in a familiar community organization.
Upon successful completion of this assignment, you will be able to:
Apply social work theories to client system engagement, assessment, and intervention at the mezzo practice level. (PO 6, 7, 8)
