Due to the coronavirus outbreak, I’m offering some additional options to take the place of the service-learning assignment. You can use one of these options instead of the original assignment.
Option 1: Research the terms global pandemic and coronavirus. Citing this research, discuss ways that each of us can be of service to fight this pandemic. For example, what are some ways we can play a role in stopping or slowing the infection rate? What are some acts of service that we could do to help those that are infected, quarantined, or on the front lines in health care? Make sure to use credible sources for your research. This minimum one-page, single-spaced paper should be a review of the research you found (with citations) and also a first-person narrative on ways that you can be of service to fight this pandemic.
